Third Consecutive Win Over Brighton
Manchester City are back to their winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Brighton at the Falmer Stadium. The win marks City's third consecutive triumph over the Seagulls, who have struggled to match the reigning Premier League champions' attacking prowess.
Manchester City came into the match in need of a victory, having failed to score in their previous two league games. However, Brighton has proven to be an effective attacking antidote for other clubs, having conceded only three goals in their last six league matches.
But City wasted little time in breaking the deadlock: Bernardo Silva put the visitors ahead with a well-taken goal in the 15th minute. Ilkay Gundogan doubled City's lead with a clinical finish just before half-time, and Raheem Sterling sealed the win with a tap-in from close range in the 62nd minute.
The win sees City climb to second place in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Arsenal but with a game in hand. Brighton remains in 12th place, 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
